From the Director of ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’

In 1937, George Hogg, a young Engligh journalist travels to war ravaged China in search of the frontline and a big story. After the Japanese invade and massacre hundreds of innocent Chinese in front of him, and having barely escaped with his life, Hogg risks everything to lead sixty children, orphaned by the war, across hundreds of miles of treacherous terrain, fending off air and ground attacks by the Japanese invaders and Chinese Nationalist Movement.

Featuring an amazing cast including Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors), Radha Mitchell (Finding Neverland) and Chow Yun Fat (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), Escape from Huang Shi is a brutal and compelling story based on true events during World War II.
